Our Process
Share remodeling goals
We’ll meet with you to understand your vision for your remodeling project. This is a great time for you to share any inspiration you might have, such as photos, but we’ll also review your desired timeline, budget, how you want to use the space when the renovation is completed, and any concerns you might have.
Scope & Design
Depending on the complexity of your project, we’ll meet with an architect and/or designer. Green Light Construction has multiple architects and designers that we’ve worked with for years and trust to provide great results for our clients. If your project doesn’t warrant using an architect or designer, we’ll work together to outline the scope and project requirements.
Site Evaluation
During the site evaluation, our trades will visit your home to evaluate conditions, identify unknowns that could impact the project, and prepare bids for each step of your project. Once this is completed, we’ll review and sign the fixed price contract and confirm estimated timeline and target start date.
Build
The work finally begins! At the beginning of the project, we’ll prepare the job site and ensure any non-work areas are protected from the construction. Your project manager will communicate with you throughout the project, so you know how the work is progressing and which trades to expect each week. We’ll also visit the job site for regular check-ins to confirm everything is progressing as planned. As the project nears completion, we’ll create a final punch list of remaining items.

Upon project completion, we’ll do a final walk through to ensure you’re satisfied with the outcome. Then all you have to do is enjoy your newly finished space!
